Employee transfers to a different department during a period of temporary unemployment
When the employee transfers to a different department and the new department does not have a temporary unemployment scheme, you do not have to take any action. The employee can be included in the notification of temporary unemployment without this having any further consequences. The reason being that this employee will not be apply for benefits from the authorities on the grounds of temporary unemployment.
You can stop/terminate the employee individually in the notification, but this is not compulsory. If you choose to do so, observe the aforesaid procedure for an employee who leaves service during a temporary unemployment period.

When the employee transfers to a different department and the new department has a different temporary unemployment scheme, you will need to perform two actions for this particular employee.
1.Scrap the employee in the notification of the old department.
The procedure is the same as the aforesaid procedure for an employee who leaves service during a temporary unemployment period. 2.Create a new notification for the employee’s new department. Important:
•It is no longer possible to add employees to a declaration that has already been sent (notification or first day). In this case, you must create a new notification. •Bear in mind that the waiting period must be observed at the employee level. (For example in an economic unemployment scheme, the compulsory working week must be worked first.) |

Combination of the first day of bad weather, first day of technical breakdown and first day of economic grounds
The employer is under obligation to inform the authorities immediately about the first day of bad weather, the first day of economic unemployment or the first day of a technical breakdown.
Note
Only the first 'first day' that occurs on a monthly basis must be communicated.
You must report the first type of temporary unemployment that occurs during the month (bad weather, first day of economic unemployment or first day of a technical breakdown) to the authorities. An exemption of the compulsory reporting duty applies for the first day of temporary unemployment on different grounds in the same month.
Reason: the second notification will overwrite the first notification! In other words, the first notification is cancelled.
If you fail to observe the above rule, the employee will not qualify for benefits for the days of temporary unemployment linked to the first (cancelled) notification.
