Important! Consult your payroll officer if you need to pay certain termination fees to the employee, such as farewell compensation, non-compete compensation, severance pay, etc.
Always provide your payroll officer with the necessary information about the employer's contribution in relation to the hospitalisation insurance and group insurance.
1.Go to Employees.
2.Select the employee you wish to remove from service.
3.Under Actions, click Register departure.
4.Provide the answer to the question "Who took the initiative?".
5.A second question will appear: "For what reason?". The list of choices you receive is based on your answer to the first question.
Indicate the correct choice and click Next.
In the next step(s), you only need to provide the relevant information for the situation in question.
6.After you have completed all the steps, the headings will be displayed on the Master data screen - Employment determination tab. Again, you will only see the relevant sections.
Do you wish to change the categories on this screen?
•You can change the sections Payment of year-end bonus and Documents at any time.
•In certain cases, such as in the event of notice, you can also change the employment termination date.
See step 7 and Notice end date : what about absences that extend the notice period?
•You cannot make any changes if
othe severance pay has been added by your payroll officer or
othe leaving service has already been calculated. See also: Monthly calendar.
•You cannot change Notice extension and Notice end date. See Notice end date : what about absences that extend the notice period?
7.If the effective end date of the collaboration has arrived, check the field Date of departure on the tab Employment determination.
•If this field is still blank, enter the effective date of leaving service.
•If you had already filled in this field, but the date has to be changed because of the suspensions: adjust the date.
Notice end date : what about absences that extend the notice period?
Certain absences will extend the notice period if the employer is the party that is giving notice. The notice end date is calculated automatically, taking into account absences that are registered in Payroll at that time. Once you have completed all steps, the end date is shown in the Notice end date section on the Employment determination tab. The Notice extension section indicates the number of calendar days with which the cancellation has been extended. Via If you subsequently register an absence that changes the notice period in the monthly or personal calendar, a message will appear at the top of the screen and the end date will be adjusted in the Notice end date section and the number of calendar dates in Notice extension will be adapted. |
Note:
You cannot change the value of the Catering Allowance section on the Master data screen - Employment determination tab .
The value depends on the section Initiator, Reason for the departure, Type of departure and the choice in the section Payment of year-end bonus.
