Pay category/job class

Via Employees - screen Master data - Contract tab you can always find the field Pay category and sometimes the field Job class.

 

Pay category

The field Pay category is used for calculating pay scales in LIO.

Pay category is always visible on the screen Master data - tab Contract.

The field can be displayed in two ways:

•as a fill-in field

•as a combo box.

You can fill in the field Pay category but you don't have to.

Note

The field Job class will not be present.

If the field Pay category is shown as a combo box, you must fill in the field.

Note: You do not have to fill in the field Pay Category if the employee is mentioned in this list.

•helper-self-employed

•individual vocational training in the company                             

•apprenticeship contract - industry                               

•supplementary unemployment benefit to be paid by employer

•professional immersion agreement (bio)

•traineeship during study programme (non-bio)                                         

•benefits paid to third parties

•sportsmen with NSSO (with employment contract                  

•contract for integ. in soc. and professional life 

•business manager, non-director

•entry apprenticeship

•bridging project

•work experience contract vocational training contract in BSO

•(FL) professional immersion apprenticeship (BIS)

 

If the field is not filled in, you cannot forward any data to SD Worx.

The data shown in the Combobox are those which pertain to the National Joint Committee (if present), otherwise to the NJC.

The field is obligatory because this is laid down in the LIO agreement.
Contact your Payroll Officer if you wish to change this.

Note: If the field Job class is present, Pay category can only be consulted.

 

Job class

The field Job class is only present if

•the dossier pertains to NJC 302 and

•the field Pay category must be filled in (is shown as a Combobox).

 

If the field Job class is present, Pay category can only be consulted.

The content of the field Job class operates the content of the field Pay category.

Note: No history is kept of the field Job class.
