Tip!
The FAQ section also has more information about untaken holidays.
We are using this feature to ask you about the outstanding statutory leave of the relevant white-collar worker.
A table at the top of the page provides the following information:
•Calendar year
•Number of leave days not taken
•Number of leave hours not taken
•Status
Do some of your white-collar workers still have a statutory leave balance when the current payment period is November? You will receive the signal "Employees with statutory leave not taken".
You can click straight through to this feature for the relevant employeefrom this signal or from the Employees screen.
There you can consult the number of days and hours of statutory leave not taken.
Planned holidays in Payroll are taken into account.
Comments:
•The Counters in the Monthly Calendar take only calculated holidays into account.
Therefore, there can be a difference between the balance under the Counters and the balance under this feature.
•If the balance includes an incomplete day, Payroll will show the balance only in hours.
Payroll shows you what you can do here.
If the white-collar worker has no outstanding balance, you will see the words "The employee has taken all his or her holidays". You do not need to take any action.
The 'Overview of employees with leave not taken (year end)' report allows you to find the number of days and hours not taken for all employees in a single overview.
Current payment period = December
When you enter the December payment period, you will receive the task "Employees to be processed with statutory leave not taken" for the employees who still have a balance of statutory leave at that time. You can indicate here what has to happen to the holiday(s) that can no longer be taken this year. Please note:
1.If necessary, adjust Days or Hours in the Show holidays field. Comment: If the balance includes an incomplete day, Payroll will show the balance only in hours. 2.Under Balance, you are given an overview of •the total number of leave days/hours not taken, •of which originate from a holiday certificate/voucher, •of which have been accrued with the current employer. Comments: •Important ! If you are working with import time registration, it is advisable to first import the work for the month of December and any previous months. This ensures that the holiday balance is up-to-date. •Payroll takes into account the registered planned holiday(s) in Payroll. •If the employee’s holiday entitlement is recalculated, Payroll will not show any information about the balance at that time, but the status in the table at the top of the page will change to 'Pending counter'. 3.You must state the reason for the untaken holiday(s) under Make a selection. •Force majeure: other reason (old force majeure) •No force majeure (voluntary) Contact your payroll consultant if you wish to provide several reasons. 4.Click on Save. Payroll shows the result depending on the reason chosen:
In the report 'Leave not taken white-collar workers: result choice December' you will find an overview of the choice you have entered for the white-collar workers concerned.
ChangesNote: You will receive a new task when the statutory leave balance has changed if the year has not been closed for tax purposes. |

You can choose between days and hours. By default, the option is selected as for the Counters in the Monthly Calendar. As soon as you have registered the necessary information and clicked on Save, the status “Finished” appears at the top, together with the number of days or hours not taken.
