Creating a contract for a student

The information you need to create a student contract depends on the type of student:

Below, you will find a summary of the details you need to fill in (Master data - Contract tab).

Student with reduced NSSO contributions (solidarity contribution)

For a student with solidarity contributions, you select the following details:

Group	Ordinary group of manual workers or white-collar workers For the hospitality industry, you select the group ‘short-term contract not fixed-term’
Nature (Type) of contract	Student
Statute	Select what is applicable.
Duration	Fixed term (is filled in automatically when you choose student in the field Nature (Type) of contract)
End-date of contract	Complete the end-date of the contract
Special status	Students (only solid. contr.) (is filled in automatically when you choose student in the field Nature (Type) of contract)

For students with full NSSO-contributions, there is a distinction based on the age of the student.

Nature (Type) of contract	Student
Statute	Select what is applicable.
Duration	Fixed term (is filled in automatically when you choose student in the field Nature (Type) of contract)
End-date of contract	Complete the end-date of the contract
Special status	The value Students (only solid. contr.) will be proposed automatically. Select a different value. If the other values are not applicable, select No special status.

Group	Special group with definition < 19-year-olds. If this group is not available, contact your payroll consultant.
Nature (Type) of contract	Student
Statute	Select what is applicable.
Duration	Fixed term (is filled in automatically when you choose student in the field Nature (Type) of contract)
End-date of contract	Complete the end-date of the contract
Special status	Select a value. Please note! This cannot be Students (only solid. contr.) . If the other values are not applicable, select No special status.
