Change the company car details
Note! •If you wish to make an adjustment to a closed tax pay year, contact your payroll officer.
•If an employee is also allowed to use the company car for private purposes, you must enter the car before sending the salaries. You must also report any changes as soon as possible. All of this may affect the net pay and the NSSO may impose fines for incorrect data or late notifications. •If you have sent the salaries for calculation correctly, you cannot select the employee. 1.Go to Company cars. 2.Select the company car the details of which you wish to change. 3.Click on Change. 4.Check here whether the company car is (or has been) used individually. 5.Click 6.Click on Save. 7.Select the same company car for which you wish to change the details again. 8.Click on Change. 7.Go to Car tab. 8.Change the details of the company car. 10.Re-enter all deleted periods of individual use. 11.Click on Save. 12.Inform your payroll officer as these changes will cause corrections. |
Change the use of the company car

All of this may affect the net pay and the NSSO may impose fines for incorrect data or late notifications. •If you have sent the salaries for calculation correctly, you cannot select the employee. 1.Go to Company cars. 2.Select the company car you wish to change. 3.Click on Change. 4.By default, you will end up in the Use of the company car. Change the use. ▪If the start date of the allocation is in the current pay year, you may adapt the following data: the type of use, the start date, the car return date, the personal contribution per month and the employee to whom the company car is linked. ▪If the start date of the allocation is in a closed tax salary year, you may enter only the car return date. ▪If you wish to add a new use, you will find more information here. 5.Click on Save. 6.Inform your payroll officer as these changes will cause corrections. |
1.Go to Company cars. 2.Select the company car you wish to decommission. 3.Click on Change. 4.Specify an end date for the current individual, collective or utility use of the company car. 5.Click on New Period and select Not in use. 6.Click on Save. The company car is not in use from the start date of that period. From now on, you can also stop the company car. You can find out how to do this under Discontinuing a company car. |
Important! You can only set a car to inactive if it is not in use. If you wish to stop an active company car, you must first decommission the company car. You can read how to do this in Decommissioning a company car. Note! 1.Go to Company cars. 2.Select in Not in use for the car you wish to set as inactive. 3.Click on Discontinue. 4.Select an end date and click Confirm. From the day after the end date entered, the company car will no longer be visible in the list of active company cars and will be included in the list of inactive company cars. |
Activate an inactive company car.
1.Go to Company cars. 2.Filter on Inactive company cars or All company cars. 3.Search under Not in use for the company car that you want to use again. 4.Click on Reactivate. 5.You can now allocate the company car. |
A company car may be removed only when it is not (or has not been) in use. 1.Go to Company cars. 2.Select under Not in use the company car you wish to remove. 3.Click on Delete. Note! |
