Every employer is obliged to take out industrial accident insurance for his employees.

The risk-class (or degree of risk) is specified in the industrial accident insurance policy. An employee is in either a normal, higher or lower risk-class.

In the case of higher or lower classes of risk, the insurance company charges a different premium for the accident insurance policy.

Each year, the insurance company requests the requisite details from the RSZ for contracts with higher or lower classes of risk. In order to ensure that the RSZ can pass on these details correctly to the insurance company, they send a list of dossier numbers to SD Worx in November.
