Manage extra master data

On the screen Employees - Master data you will find information about the employee, the family, the contract, the pay package and Dimona.
You may want to add extra details about the employee.
Example: You want to do more than just update the number of children on the tab Family. You would also like to know the name, date of birth and sex of the children.

This extra master data must first be requested.
Requested data will be shown and can be filled in via Settings - Extra master data.

Comment
When a contract is copied for the same person, the extra master data will be copied with it.
When a contract is copied for a different person, the extra master data will not be copied with it.

 

With extra master data, you can

Request it or make it visible

Change it

Make it not visible or delete it

 

Request or make visible extra master data

You can only request new columns in the groupDiverse.
The requested columns are always visible on the screen Extra master data.

1.Go to Settings.

2.Click on Extra master data.
The columns that belong to the group Diverse are shown at the top.

3.Click in the group Diverse on + New column.

4.Fill in the columns Description, Data type and Length.
Uncheck the column Critical if everyone (including people with limited reading rights) is allowed to see the column.

5.Click on Save at the bottom.

 

Comment
You cannot change the order in which the columns are displayed.

 
Making previously-established columns visible

In the groups Diploma and training course, Extra contact details, Children, Clothing and Reference numbers you cannot request new columns.
You can, however, make previously established columns visible.

 

Changing extra fixed data

Changing the content of a column

1.Go to Employees and select the employee concerned.

2.Click on Master data.

3.Click on the tab Extra master data.

4.If necessary, change the content of one or more columns.
For the group Diploma and training course or the group Children, you can add extra lines.

5.Click Save.

 

Changing the technical specifications of a column

'Changing technical specifications of a column' means:

changing the description, the data type and/or the length of a column or

modifying the visibility of a column or

changing a 'Critical' column

 

Delete or make extra master data invisible

If you no longer wish to see any of the columns on the Extra master data screen, you must delete them or make them invisible.

 

Deleting columns

You can only delete sections of the group Diverse. The data in these columns will be deleted from the database.
You cannot delete columns of the groups Diploma and training course, Extra contact details, Children, Clothing and Reference numbers.
You do not have to make them visible.

1.Go to Settings.

2.Click on Extra master data. The columns that belong to the group Diverse are shown.

3.Select icoon_digiti_vuilbakje behind the column you wish to delete.

4.Click on Save at the bottom.

 

Making columns invisible

Columns of the groups Diploma and training course, Extra contact details, Children, Clothing and Reference numbers cannot be deleted.
You can choose whether or not to show these columns on the screen Extra master data.
If Visible is ticked for to a column, the column will be displayed.
 

1.Go to Settings.

2.Click on Extra master data.

3.Select the group Diploma and training course, Extra contact details, Children, Clothing or Reference numbers.

4.Uncheck Visible of the column you do not wish to show on the screen Extra master data.
If a column is unchecked, it will no longer be visible, but the data will still be present in the database.

5.Click on Save at the bottom.
