In the Report - Audit tab you can request a report of historical modifications to Master data and an employee's monthly Calendar. You can use this data for a corporate audit, but also for other (checking) purposes.
Example: You can run an audit report to find out which Payroll user changed a certain employee's gross wage in November, or the user who filled in the calendar details of a certain group of employees.

When the subscription is active, in the Report - Audit tab, you will see the New Audit button in the top right corner. Click this button to request an audit report. When you click the New Audit button, a screen is displayed where you can indicate the type of report you require. Two types of audit reports exist: •Master data: the audit report Master data contains changes to the personal details, contract details and benefits specified per contract. •Calendar: the audit report Calendar contains changes to calendar data, benefits specified per month, details about severance pay and holiday pay settlements. Click Next to specify the range of the report. In the Properties tab, you can specify the range of the report: ▪Employees: you can specify that only the changes made to the data of certain employees is to be included in the report. ▪Period: oChanges made between indicates that changes made at a certain time are included in the report. oChanges made to months between indicates whether changes made to a specific pay period are included in the report. Example: If you want to consult changes made in September 2014 for the pay period of August, select Changes made between and enter 01/09/2014 and 30/09/2014. Then select Changes made to months between and select 01/08/2014 and 31/08/2014. For example, if on 8 September you changed 20 August for an employee from worked to vacation, this modification will be included in the report. ▪Contact: here you specify whether you only want to retrieve changes made by a specific Contact. ▪Output specifies the format (Excel, PDF or CSV file) in which the report will be generated. When you've finished making the selection, click Next again. An overview of the chosen selection criteria is displayed. Click Confirm to create the audit report. Caution! Unlike other reporting, an audit report only contains data that was saved up to the business day before the audit is performed. For example, if you request an audit report for all changes made to the fixed data of a particular employee, and if you change this person's gross wage on the same day, this change will not be included in the audit report. |
The audit report gives a chronological overview of the modified data. In the Master data audit report, each change to a particular item is displayed on a new line. An action such as an employee leaving service will be displayed as a number of individual changes to fixed data such as the date of termination, the method of termination, etc. Changes belong together when the modification time (first column) and the user (second column) correspond exactly. |
